Snake Saturday Parade & Festival

Everyone is Irish for St. Patrick’s Day.

The 39th annual Snake Saturday Parade & Festival scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 2023 in North Kansas City is the perfect destination for all-ages Irish fun in Kansas City.  Admission is FREE. The theme this year is “Super Shimmering Shamrock.”

Snake Saturday Parade

The parade starts at 11 a.m. at 14th & Swift, travels north on Swift to Armour Road, then east down Armour to Howell Street, then south, where it ends after crossing 16th Street.

The festival grounds border Armour Road on the north and 18th Avenue on the south, Fayette on the west, and Howell on the east.

North Kansas City has a good amount of FREE parking. Insiders tell us some good options are public lots or on the street north of Armour Road, those south of 18th Avenue and east of Erie, or areas west of Clay Street. The key is to get there early and claim your space.

Snake Saturday Festival Events

Snake Saturday is more than a parade. A full festival comes alive from Armour Road on the North and 18th Avenue on the South, Fayette on the West, and 18th Avenue on the East.

Activities include:

Carnival Rides

FREE Kids Area

Car Show

Concessions
