Planned Parenthood Visitors Targeted By Pro-Life Group Advertising

Anti-abortion groups are sending women targeted advertisements on their mobile phones as they enter Planned Parenthood clinics. The ads ask pregnant women to “be informed” and “get the facts first” with links to anti-abortion group websites. Copley Advertising is behind the advertisements which have reached 800,000 women. According to Copley so far only 2,000 women have clicked the ad. Users must opt out of location-based ad tracking by not allowing them on any of their mobile phone apps or by turning off their GPS location and tracking when visiting Planned Parenthood if they do not wish to see the advertisements.
