I FINALLY figured out how to download my Facebook Live Videos from a Private Facebook Group in 2022. This process doesn’t work on mobile phones.

1. You have to use a desktop or laptop computer to find the “Download Video” option on Facebook videos.

2. You have to have the video in full screen mode.

3. From full screen mode, click the 3 dots on the upper-right hand corner and you should see the “Download Video” option to download your video file.

This is a great strategy for those who like to repurpose Facebook Live videos to other platforms.
